Relating to the supply of the service to you (The Customer) by Les Cars Rouges (The Company) details of which are set out below.

The service provided by the Company includes the provision of sightseeing tours by passenger-carrying vehicles.


E-tickets - No withdrawal period

Customer's purchasing tickets on this website will have their tickets delivered to them electronically. The Customer will need to print the e-ticket and bring the printed copy with them to present to a member of the Les Cars Rouges staff at the Customer's preferred start point. Regarding provision of transport and tourism according to article L 121-20-4, 2 ° of the French Consumer Code, no withdrawal period is granted to The Customer.


E-ticket Redemption

Customers with e-tickets must bring the printed e-ticket along with the credit card used to make the purchase. Alternatively, the "Lead Traveller", whose name is printed on the e-ticket can present photo ID. The Customer should present their e-ticket to a Les Cars Rouges member of staff at the preferred start point. The member of staff will exchange the e-ticket for a valid ticket to travel.  Les Cars Rouges reserves the right to refuse any e-tickets presented without either credit card or photo ID.


Tickets to Travel

The Customer should keep their ticket safe as replacements will not be issued. The Customer must show their ticket as they board. The ticket remains the property of the company and must be produced for inspection and, if requested to do so, be surrendered upon demand to an authorised Company Official. The Customer will not be permitted to use any Les Cars Rouges service without a valid ticket for the entire journey the Customer wishes to make.


Ticket Validity

The ticket entitles the Customer to use all Les Cars Rouges services during operational hours. The validity of the ticket is 1 or 2 days as specified on your ticket. For 1 day tickets the ticket is valid from the time the Customer boards the bus until the end of service the same day.  For 2 day tickets the ticket is valid from the time the Customer boards the bus until the end of service the following day. Tickets do not guarantee travel on a specific service or at a specific time.


Lost Tickets

The Customer must keep their ticket safe. Customers found travelling without a valid ticket will be charged the full ticket price for a replacement ticket or asked to disembark at the next stop. 



Child tickets are available for Children aged from 4 -12 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 3 may travel for Free, if accompanied by a dedicated adult (1 adult :1 child).


Departure Points and Times

The Company endeavours to provide departure points and times for the service which are as accurate as possible. However, the Company reserves the right to vary such departure points and times without notice, as circumstances require.


Tour Route 

The Company reserves the right to deviate from the route of a service where reasonably prudent to do so in the light of circumstances beyond the Company’s control.


Buses and bus safety

While the Company endeavours to operate its famous open-top double-decker buses, it reserves the right to operate closed-top, double-decker buses from time to time, especially in bad weather. During busy times, seating cannot be guaranteed on either deck.


The Company reserves the right to refuse access to travel on a particular departure should circumstance be deemed to compromise tour safety.


For safety reasons all Customers on the upper deck are required to remain seated while the bus is in motion. 



In the event that the Company is unable to provide a service throughout the period of the validity of your ticket through circumstances within its control, you shall be entitled to a full or part refund of the price of your ticket.


Accident or Loss

Please take care of all personal property. The Company will not be held liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by the Company, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price.


Customer Conduct

We may at our discretion require any person to alight from a tour if we deem his/her conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, or if behaving in such a way as to constitute a risk to his/her safety or to the safety of other passengers, and we shall have no further liability.
